TestGorilla secures $70m Series A funding to help companies eliminate hiring bias
Sending in a resume is the main way a person hopes to get noticed for a job. But a startup out of Amsterdam called TestGorilla is today announcing $70 million in funding for a very different kind of approach: It has built an assessment platform that can be used to screen for a wide range of job categories, verticals and skills, and it says its approach is more effective and more equitable than when the initial screening is done via CVs. The funding, a Series A, is being co-led by Atomico and Balderton Capital; and it’s coming about a year after TestGorilla raised $10 million in a seed round from Notion, Partech, and CapitalT.
TestGorilla named in G2’s top 5 fastest-growing products for 2022
TestGorilla is delighted to have been named in a prestigious list of the top five fastest-growing software products for 2022 – news that was shared on a striking billboard in New York’s Times Square. G2, the world’s largest software marketplace, this week published the yearly list as part of its Annual Software Awards. TestGorilla ranks fifth in its category, behind POSTOPLAN, Notion, Apollo.io and Hopin.
TestGorilla wins first place in Emerce’s Top 10 European Startups Awards 2022
We’re pleased to announce that TestGorilla has won first place in Emerce’s annual Top 10 European Startups Awards. The full list contains big names like Venly, a blockchain technology provider, and BeReal, an up-and-coming social media platform. TestGorilla took the top spot, inspiring the Emerce editors, VCs, bankers, and journalists from across Europe who decide on the award with our mission to put 1 billion people in dream jobs and abolish the CV.
TestGorilla makes Sifted’s inaugural Europe’s rising 100 B2B list
TestGorilla is excited to have been named in Sifted’s Europe’s rising 100, the first-ever annual ranking of 100 venture capital (VC)-backed, business-to-business (B2B) companies to be compiled using a data-based methodology. Sifted partnered with Sapphire Ventures, an enterprise VC firm that invests in high-growth, expansion-stage tech, for the report.
